Vaudoisey-Creusefond – Climat du Val 2016 – Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru

The nose is fruity, racy, slightly powerful and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of plum, blackberry and slight notes of red berries associated with slight touches of mocha, wood, cassis bud as well as slight touches of spices and a very discreet hint of mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a nice minerality, freshness, a slight juiciness, a mineral frame (nice minerality), a good definition, a slight tension, a beautiful matter as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy red berries and a touch of cherry associated with touches of cassis / plum as well as slight touches of spices and a discreet hint of cocoa. Tannins are well-built. Good length and persistence.
