The nose is elegant, aromatic, beautifully built and offers concentration as well as a slight richness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, purple plum, mocha, and slight notes of crushed red berry fruit, flowers associated with a hint of Sichuan pepper, woody notes as well as a hint of caramelization, vanilla and of coffee (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, straight and offers a slight suavity, a slight juiciness, a slight freshness as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum, crushed raspberry and a touch of wild strawberry associated with subtle touches of flowers, toasted oak, mocha / cocoa, spices as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
