The nose is fine, powerful, well-balanced and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of citrus, marmalade and discreet notes of fruitcake, dried apricot associated with hints of toasted oak as well as a discreet touch of honey, hazelnut and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, relatively fine, well-balanced and offers an acid frame and freshness. In mouth this Porto expresses notes of marmalade and candied tangerine associated with discreet notes of dried figs, dried apricots, cigar, wood, honey as well as (very) discreet notes of dried flowers.
