Varandas – Branco 2015 – Tejo

Varandas – Branco 2015 – Tejo

The nose is fruity and offers a slight minerality (in the background). It reveals notes of eucalyptus, racy minerality and slight notes of citrus associated with a hint of quince as well as a subtle hint of beeswax. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, racy, a bit aerial and offers fat, roundness, tension as well as a slight salin minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh pear, fresh quince and small touches of fresh mirabelle associated with a discreet touch of fresh citrus, hints of racy minerality as well as a subtle hint of beeswax and an imperceptible hint of vanilla on the finish/aftertaste. Good length. There is a slight oaky hint on the persistence.
