The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers intensity, power as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of zante currant , dried zests and small notes of caramelized mandarin associated with fine touches of dried strawberry, fig as well as discreet hints of date, almond, toasted, Sichuan pepper/violet and a discreet hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, finesse, suavity, an acidulous frame, a good guideline, tension. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of caramelized mandarin, cristallized lemon and small notes of date associated with small hints of zest, strawberry/raspberry as well as discreet hints of cedar, zan, tobacco, discreet hints of chocolate/vanilla and Sichuan pepper. Good length and very beautiful persistence. A Porto which offers a beautiful juiciness, persistence and gourmandize!
