Vallepicciola 2016 – Chianti Classico Riserva

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine richness as well as a very fine power. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, blueberry and lighter vanilla associated with small touches of plum as well as fine hints of toasted, toasted almonds and an imperceptible hint of sage (in the background). The mouth is mineral, well-balanced and offers a very fine juiciness, a minerality frame, freshness, fat, a small roundness as well as a fine delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, fresh blackberry and small notes of fresh flowers associated with small touches of minerality as well as hints of toasted, tonka bean and a discreet hint of sage / olive tree. Good length.
