The nose is fruity, relatively elegant and slightly silky. It reveals notes of cassis and slight notes of Boysenberry jam combined with a touch of cassis jam, toasted oak, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper, slight notes of flint and a very discreet hint of salinity. The mouth is fruity, mineral, silky and offers fat, a fine juiciness, a nice definition as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis cream and hints of blueberry combined with slight notes of black olives, zan as well as a discreet hint of toasted / caramelized oak and tobacco. Good length and (aromatic) persistence. There is a very discreet grilled hint on the finish.
