The nose is elegant, well-built, harmonious and offers a certain delicacy, a fine grain as well as a certain complexity. It reveals notes of quite ripe wild cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of violet, cornflower associated with touches of tonka bean, underwood, quite ripe blueberry as well as a hint of cigar box, truffle and a very discreet hint of sense of the place. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, suavity, elegance as well as harmony, a beautiful touch, a fine creaminess and a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of pulpy/fresh blueberry associated with a touch of crushed strawberry as well as hints of cigar box, chocolate, brioche, patisseries, fine hints of incense, graphite, discreet hints of truffle and an imperceptible hint of sense of the place/pink laurel. Good length.
