Utopie de Château Saincrit 2019 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity and offers some power. There are notes of warm blackcurrant, black berries and, more slightly, Cuben pepper, combined with hints of violet plum and a fine touch of violet, red berries and spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, gourmandise, a very fine creaminess, precision and a certain purity of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant, morello cherry and, more slightly, ripe blueberry, combined with a touch of crushed/cooked strawberry, as well as fine hints of liquorice, vanilla and a subtle hint of cinnamon. The tannins are sapid. Good length.
