(Bottled in October 2019) The nose is elegant, fruity, fine and offers a certain power (but full of delicacy). It reveals notes of dried mandarin, dried zest and small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with a touch of dried violet, dried quince as well as fine hints of sweet spices, rancio and very discreet hints vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a beautiful structure, precision, gourmandise, a certain generosity, a very fine unctuosity as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of juicy / ripe lemon, juicy / ripe tangerine and small notes of crushed mirabelle plum associated with a touch of peach, jammy apricot as well as hints of vanilla, caramelization and a subtle toasted hing. Good length. Good persistence with a subtle hint of pepper.
