Trimbach – Riesling 2014 – Sélection de Vieilles Vignes – Alsace

The nose is aromatic and offers a slight freshness, a slight richness as well elegance. It reveals notes of small yellow fruits, mandarin and apple associated with touches of beeswax, yellow peach as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background) and a subtle hint of spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, suave, elegant and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful acid frame, a good volume, a beautiful gourmandise as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy citrus (lemon, mandarin) and ripe/fleshy flat peach associated with small touches of zests of mandarin, beeswax, green apple as well as a subtle hint of quenette. Good length and beautiful persistence.
