(40%) The nose is racy and offers power (finesse), elegance, deepness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a good definition. There are notes of jammy mirabelle plum, butter apple and small notes of spices associated with small touches of quince, nutmeg as well as a fine hint of dried blond tobacco, a very discreet hint of pepper and an imperceptible hint of vanilla blossoms. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, stretched (all in length) and offers elegance. On the palate, this Calvados expresses notes of yellow apple cooked in butter, bright mirabelle plum and small notes of juicy apple associated with touches of pepper, dried yellow flowers, spices as well as discreet hints of cigar box. A beautiful Calvados which is full of finesse, length and precision.
