The nose is fruity, fine, quite elegant and offers power, richness as well as gourandise. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry jam and hints of wild strawberry, redcurrant associated with touches of chocolate as well as a subtle hint of truffle and an imperceptible hint of cardamom/caramelization. The palate is fruity, fine, well-balanced, aerial, fresh and offers a very nice suavity as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed Quetsche plum, ripe wild strawberry and slight notes of redcurrant associated with a hint of chocolate. Tannins are well-built and very slightly firm. Good length.
