Torricino – Cevotiempo 2016 – Taurasi DOCG

The nose is very discreetly tight and offers a fine grain as well as freshness and a good definition. It reveals notes of cassis, cornflower, small notes of small bright blue berries associated with small touches of mocha, tobacco, cardamom as well as fine hints of caramelization, black olive, thyme flowers, toasted and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a small tension as well as a fine grain, suavity, harmony and a beautiful silky touch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, violet plum and small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of cornflower, violet, cocoa as well as fine hints of toasted, cardamom, a discreet hint of caramelization and hazelnut. Good length. Good persistence.
