The nose is racy and offers a certain concentration as well as a fine straightness. There are notes of red berries, violets and, more slightly, pulpy cherry, combined with fine nuances of red plum, fresh tobacco and a discreet hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, juiciness, roundness as well as a sustained side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry and pulpy red berries associated with fine floral touches, small pulpy plum as well as fine points of star anise and blond tobacco. Tannins are well managed. Good length. Good, discreet work on the bitter taste.
