The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers a certain intensity, power as well as a fine grain and deepness. It reveals notes of dry cassis, dry strawberry, small notes of rose, lily associated with small touches of fresh nutmeg, small fresh wild berries as well as small hints of cardamom, sense of the place, a very discreet hint of laurel berries, tobacco and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful suavity, minerality, a small freshness, a mineral frame as well as tension and a small verticality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, crushed redcurrant, small notes of pulpy cassis associated with touches of violet, small fresh fruits as well as hints of rose, lilac, mocha, toasted and very fine hints of toasted/caramelized hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are precise.
