The nose is aromatic. It reveals fine hints of heather, peat and racy minerality associated with a hint of flowers / potpourri, dried apple skin, pear and a subtle hint of smoke and walnuts. The palate is fruity and offers a fine fat, a fine minerality, a fine suavity and sweetness. On the palate, this Scotch Whisky expresses notes of juicy fleshy peach, mirabelle plum, quince and a subtle touch of dried fruits / potpourri associated with a subtle hint of caramel as well as a discreet hint of smoke and nougatine. Good persistence. There is a subtle hint of cocoa on the finish / persistence. Beautiful persistence.
