The Debate – Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity and offers a slight freshness, a slight intensity, power as well as elegance. It reveals notes of cassis, boysenberry, violet and small notes of crunchy raspberry combined with touches of spices and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse of the grain, minerality, dynamism as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy cassis and small notes of red berries associated with slight hints of juicy raspberry as well as small touches of chocolate, liquorice, tobacco and very discreet hints of coffee (in the background). Good length. A beautiful wine!
