The Debate – Cabernet Franc 2017, Stagecoach Vineyard – Napa Valley

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers power and a small concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild cassis and small notes of violet, fresh blueberry as well as very discreet hints of mild tobacco leaf. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, a beautiful juicy frame as well as precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, blackberry and small notes of rip raspberry associated with fine touches of juicy blueberry as well as a subtle hint of fresh cornflower, arbutus fruit and caramelization. Tannins are elegant, racy and well-built. Good length and persistence.
