The nose is fine, aromatic, complex, elegant and offers a fine unctuosity. It reveals notes of cigar, Sichuan pepper, dried flowers and dried strawberry / cassis combined with subtle hints of dried mandarin zest, dried citrus as well as a hint of peat, cereal, barley and imperceptible hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, round and offers suavity, a fine juiciness, a nice / fine unctuosity, a beautiful definition and a beautiful precision. On the palate, this Scotch Whisky expresses notes of dry white grapes, dried mandarin, subtle hints of cherry / raspberry and subtle touches of fruit in syrup associated with a subtle touch of pâtisseries, cardamom, tobacco as well as a fine hint of peat, almond and a fine grilled hint. Good length and very beautiful persistence.
