The nose is aromatic and fruity. It reveals notes of orange zest / dried lemon, a subtle touch of orange marmalade, potpourri and white fruits associated with very discreet hints of violet / flowers, a hint of spices, cinnamon/nutmeg as well as a slight salinity and a subtle touch of nougatine. The palate is fruity, straight, precise and offers a beautiful finesse, a fine unctuosity as well as a fine suavity. In the mouth this Scotch Whisky expresses notes of fruit in syrup, fine hints of pear in syrup and a discreet touch of caramelization associated with a subtle hint of nougatine, roasted coffee beans, a subtle grilled hint as well as a very discreet touch of oak, Christmas biscuits, malt and cocoa in the background. Beautiful persistence.
