The nose is aromatic, racy, spicy and offers concentration as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, small wild fruitsand small notes of violet associated with touches of racy minerality, Sichuan pepper, clove as well as discreet hints of griotte, liquorice and a subtle hint of fresh mild tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a certain gourmandize, an acidulous frame as well as fullness and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, Boysen berryand small notes of small wild fruits associated with touches of raspberry, a racy minerality, cuben pepper as well as a subtle hint of clove, tonka bean and a very discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco. A fine sapidity in the finish/persistence. Tannins are precise and offer a fine straightness.
