Tesseron – Lot N°29 – XO Exception – Cognac

Tesseron – Lot N°29 – XO Exception – Cognac

The nose is fine, fruity, elegant, slightly concentrated and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of candied orange/jam, zests, dried mandarin and peach associated with a hint of mushroom, caramel, a subtle hint of crushed apple as well as slight touches of cedar wood, flowers, spices and an imperceptible hint of pâtisseries (in the background). The palate is fruity, round, unctuous, aerial and offers a nice definition, tension, a beautiful elegance, volume as well as a very beautiful balance. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of jam, jammy white fruits and small notes of candied orange zests associated with a subtle hint of crystallized lemon, sweet spices, quenette, an imperceptible hint of chocolate as well as a subtle hint of cedar wood, cardamom and vanilla/pâtisseries on the finish. Good length.
