Light cherry and brick colour. Expressive, light nose of thyme, liquorice and dried red fruit. The palate picks up on this intense aromatic character with a hint of smoke and blackcurrant. On the mid-palate, the lightness of red fruit is repeated. The tannins are supple and practically melting. They tend to become a little more grippy on the finish. This is a wine that should be decanted or left to age for one or two years.
