Terrasses de Fontanieu 2019 – Bandol

The nose offers a small power, elegance, a good definition and finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of crushed nectarine, quince, small notes of zests associated with fine touches of ripe/pulpy apricot as well as a hint of mandarine flowers, a discreet hint of grapefruit and an imperceptible hint of iodine hint/garrigue. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous/racy frame, fat and a fine deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, pulpy lychee, small notes of quenette associated with fine touches of citrus (mandarine, lemon) as well as fine hints of passion fruit, a discreet hint of mandarine flowers and an imperceptible hint of rosemary. Good length.
