It reveals notes of blackcurrant, wild raspberry and more slightly plum associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, dried cherries as well as fine hints of nutmeg and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, smoothness, gourmandize, a certain airy side in its fat / in its relative richness, roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cherry, tangy raspberry and more slightly red plum associated with touches of cassis as well as touches of cassis as well as fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg and toasted / caramelized oak.
