Tasca d’Almerita – Tenuta Regaleali – Vigna San Francesco 2018 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is fruity and offers power, some freshness and a nice burst of fruit and harmony. There are notes of pulpy cherry, crushed strawberry small notes of of violet combined with hints of crushed currant and fine zan and sense of place. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, juiciness, a nice acidic structure, suavity, harmony and a good work on the bitter taste. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crisp cherry, violet and, more lightly, wild red berries combined with touches of local earth/terroir, fine plum blossom and a discreet hint of olive, chocolate and sweet spices. Tannins are smooth and sapid. Good length. Sapid persistence.
