The nose offers power, concentration and a finely tight grain. It reveals notes of wild cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of small fleshy/ripe wild black fruits associated with fine hints of chocolate, toasted and a discreet hint of eucalyptus. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fine suavity, a fine minerality as well as a small acidulous frame, a quite defined fruit and a racy minerality (granit). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cassis, small notes of juicy/gourmand/fleshy violet plum associated with small touches of crushed red berries, violet, olive tree leaf as well as hints of chocolate, toasted and subtle hints of nutmeg. Tannins are racy. A fine hint of grilled and cocoa in the finish/persistence.
