The nose offers a fine richness as well as some concentration. It reveals notes of fairly ripe wild blackcurrant, creamy blackberry and slight notes of wild raspberry associated with a touch of pepper as well as a discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco and fresh spices. The palate is mineral, fruity and offers juiciness, a nice tangy frame, gourmandise, accuracy and a certain tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe wild blackberry, fairly ripe raspberry and slight hints of violet associated with touches of crushed wild strawberries as well as hints of cornflower, cardamom, graphite and subtle hints of of vanilla / fresh blond tobacco. The tannins are supple and racy.
