The nose is fruity, finely tight and offers juiciness, nice fruit as well as very fine power. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy Boysen blackberry and more lightly of lily associated with touches of pepper, small red fruits as well as a hint of varietal and sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness, a tangy frame, a little smoothness, roundness, a nice fattiness as well as mastery. This wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, cassis and cornflower associated with touches of crushed cherry as well as hints of liquorice, toasted hazelnut and caramelized almond. The tannins are smooth. Presence of a subtle hint of good bitterness (dark chocolate) on the finish / persistence. A gourmet wine, on the fruit, round and “easy to access”
