The nose is fruity, fine, elegant, well-balanced, racy and offers a very slight finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry, sour cherry associated with slight touches of blueberry as well as discreet hints of liquorice, discreet toasted hints and very discreet hints of spices. The mouth is juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful juicy / acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful acidity, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well a crunchy / juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with slight touches of wild strawberry, cherry as well as discreet hints of crunchy / juicy raspberry, chocolate, licorice, cardamom and a very discreet hint of tobacco. Tannins are elegant and fine. There are very discreet hints of chocolate powder on the finish.
