On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with slight touches of wild strawberry, cherry as well as discreet hints of crunchy / juicy raspberry, chocolate, licorice, cardamom and a very discreet hint of tobacco. Tannins are elegant and fine. There are very discreet hints of chocolate powder on the finish.
