The colour is dark yellow-orange, slightly hazy. On the nose the wine is intense and spicy revealing notes of bruised apple, pureed pear, honey, a touch of vanilla and cloves. On the palate the wine is intense, rich, opulent. It gives a sensation of some sweetness being completely dry. The palate shows notes of dried apricots, quince, baked apple, dried herbs, kumquat and a hint of wood. A solid example of the skin-contact wine style. Good salinity and freshness on the finish.
