St Supéry – Estate Vineyard Elu 2014 – Napa Valley 

The nose is aromatic, fruity, structured, elegant, a bit powerful and offers a good definition as well as complexity. It reveals notes of cassis, ripe redcurrants and small notes of black cherry associated with touches of blackberry, liquorice as well as discreet hints of flowers, Cuben pepper, spices, cocoa, wood and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a beautiful definition, suavity, a certain complexity, gourmandise as well as a bit aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry, cassis and small notes of cherry associated with touches of blueberry, crushed raspberry, fleshy / juicy red cherry, hints of chocolate, licorice, tobacco as well as discreet hints nutmeg and pepper. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length.
