The nose is fruity, relatively aromatic, relatively fine and a bit rich. It reveals notes of sour cherry, plum and blackberry jam associated with touches of spices as well as discreet notes of Sichuan pepper, graphite and Ceylon tea. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, silky and offers freshness, fat and a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis jam, blackberry and fine touches of cherry associated with hints of red berries / redcurrant as well as slight touches of caramelized oak and a discreet hint of coconut / vanilla on the finish. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly dusty. Good length.
