The nose is fruity, slightly powerful and offers a very slight richness as well as elegance. It reveals notes of black cherry, crushed redcurrants and a touch of crushed/ripe strawberry combined with small touches of cassis, Sichuan pepper as well as a very discreet hint of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a good definition, a slight acidulous frame, a slight juiciness, a very slight unctuosity, a small tension as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy / juicy redcurrant and small notes of cassis combined with touches of juicy plum, blueberry as well as slight hints of raspberry, licorice, black olive / grove, violet as well as a very discreet hint of spices. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length. There are a very discreet hint of almond and a slight chews on the finish / persistence.
