Seven Springs, Evening Land – Summum 2017 – Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley

Seven Springs, Evening Land – Summum 2017 – Eola-Amity Hills, Willamette Valley

The nose is fruity and offers a small intensity, a fine/very finely tight grain and a fine incisive side. It reveals notes of quince, ripe brugnon and small notes of fleshy/juicy pear associated with fine touches of yellow flowers as well as fine hints of butter, ripe almond and a subtle hint of racy minerality. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, juicy and offers a fine density, a beautiful definition but full of finesse and juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of quince, juicy/finely acidulous yellow nectarine and small notes of lychee associated with fine touches of citrus (kumquat, lemon, mandarine) as well as discreet hints of yellow flowers and pine. Good length and beautiful persistence. Sapidity and a subtle hint of bee wax/butter brioche on the 2nd caudalie.
