One of the founding estates in the Walla Walla Valley, Seven Hills Vineyard is deeply connected with the region and so is this Merlot. The vines were planted in the 1980’s by winemaker Casey McClellan and his father, and it’s one of the oldest blocks of the vineyard. This graceful and savory Merlot is as dark as it can get, in color and aromatic profile. It exhibits dark, concentrated fruits as well as spicy oak, vanilla, and dark empyreumatic chocolate.
