On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crushed Boysenberry blackberry and touches of cassis, wood associated with subtle hints of ripe / crushed wild red berries, fine hints of tonka bean, subtle hints of vanilla as well as subtle hints of coffee and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly chewy.
