The nose is fruity, fruity and offers some power and fine concentration. There are notes of ripe/fresh wild blackcurrant, ripe wild black berries and more slightly wild strawberry with fine touches of pepper, lilac, nutmeg and a discreet hint of sense of place (local biotop) and toastiness. The palate is fruity, tightly wound and offers juiciness, acidity, minerality, energy and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crisp cherry, violet and more slightly juicy/fresh blackcurrant combined with a touch of blackberry, fresh lilac, blueberry, fine hints of fresh blond tobacco as well as a fine touch of bay and pepper. The tannins are structured and racy. Nice freshness.
