The nose is fruity, powerful, concentrated and offers finesse. It reveals notes of cassis, sour cherry and small notes of blueberry associated with slight notes of licorice, discreet notes of wood as well as hints of spice, Sichuan pepper and fine touches of black tea. The palate is fruity, sleek, well-balanced and offers fat and a good volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small black cherries combined with hints of plum, hints of licorice as well as slight notes of toasted oak and coffee (discreet). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence with notes of coconut, wood and slight touches of chocolate.
