Sequoia Grove – Chardonnay 2016 – Carneros, Napa Valley

The nose is slightly on the hold and offers freshness and minerality. It reveals notes of quince, Reine Claude plum and small notes of yellow peach associated with fine touches of flowers, honeysuckle and an imperceptible hint of butter. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, tension, a fine guideline and fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy Mirabelle, fleshy brugnon and small notes of small yellow fruits associated with a subtle touch of quince/lemon as well as fine hints of butter and toasted brioche. Good length.
