The nose is racy, structured and offers power as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and crushed blackberry combined with fine touches of crushed strawberry, licorice, dark chocolate as well as slight hints of oak and a discreet hint of salinity. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight suavity, minerality, an acid frame, tension, a small fatness as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with slight touches of small black berries, cocoa, cedar as well as a very discreet hint of blueberry, Ceylon tea and spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There are small hints of sweet spices and chocolate on the finish.
