The nose is beautifully built, elegant and offers richness (in control/delicacy), deepness, concentration (in control) as well as intensity and an unctuous sensation. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, crushed raspberry, small cassis cream associated with a touch of bright Quetsche plum, chocolate, caramelization, bourbon vanilla pod, tobacco, a discreet hint of rosemary/thyme flowers and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand, charming, suavity and offers sapidity, a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, tension (full of control, justness) as well as unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis cream, blackberry cream, crushed wild strawberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches bright violet plum, liquorice stick, nutmeg as well as fine hints of incense, black olive, mild tobacco and a discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are elegant and finely powdered. Good length. A persistence on notes of crushed hazelnut, chocolate and caramelization/patisserie.
