The nose is fruity, finely on the hold and offers a controlled power. It reveals notes of cooked cassis, pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with small touches of flowers, crushed redcurrant as well as subtle hints of camphor, chocolate, vanilla pod and a very discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers freshness, elegance, a good definition, a fine straightness, a small tension as well as a very fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cooked cassis, cooked cherry, small notes of violet, cooked blueberry associated with small touches of crushed raspberry, crushed redcurrant as well as fine hints of aromatic herbs (rosemary), zan, tobacco and toasted. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
