The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, crushed elderberries and small notes of wild red fruits (raspberry…) combined with touches of violet, pepper, Sichuan, tonka bean as well as a discreet hint of spices, soil and a very discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, juicy, precise and offers a beautiful minerality, freshness, gourmandise, a slight suavity, a slight suavity as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and crushed / juicy black berries associated with small touches of red berries, crunchy cherry as well as touches of racy minerality, blueberry, flowers, very discreet hints of rosemary / garrigue as well as a subtle hint of black olive, discreet hints of tonka bean, toasted and an imperceptible hint of caramelization. Tannins are well-built. The finish is slightly tight. Good length. Good persistence.
