(42%. Bottled in : 10/2021) The nose is powerful and offers intensity as well as a fine and powerful grain. It reveals notes of rancio, cedar and small notes of sour cherry with kirsch associated with touches of caramelized orange zest, a hint of apple, dried white flowers as well as a discreet hint of dried lemon and pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers power as well as verticality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cedar, black cherry / morello cherry and small notes of orange marmalade associated with small touches of fruit in syrup, cherry wood, cedar as well as a hint of roasted almond / nougat and caramelization.
