Saïkouk 2016 – Médoc

The nose offers a fine concentration as well as a fine gourmandise. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry and crushed cassis combined with slight hints of blackberry, wild berries as well as a discreet hint of flowers, spices, licorice and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, fluid, mineral, quite gourmande and offers a nice juiciness, a nice fruity, fat, a good definition, suavity as well as a good roundness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry and juicy blackberry combined with slight hints of strawberry and plum as well as a toasted / vanilla hint, a discreet hint of spices, cardamom, flowers and a tip of roasted brioche. Good persistence. Nice potential ! There is a fine hint of licorice / cardamon on persistence.
