The nose is aromatic and offers a good finesse of the grain as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of wild berries, cassis and small notes of cassis bud associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, dried local vegetation as well as hints of mocha as well as a very discreet hint of tea and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight juiciness, a slight suavity as well as a slight acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild berries associated with touches of flowers, blueberry, raspberry as well as discreet toasted hints, sweet spices and very discreet hints of tonka bean. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
