The nose offers power and elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of plum jam associated with touches of crushed strawberry, caramelized orange as well as discreet hints of cocoa. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight juicy / mineral structure, suavity as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blueberry, blackberry jam and small notes of Quetsche plum associated with slight touches of small red fruits, licorice stick, chocolate as well as discreet hints of caramelization and a very discreet hint of fresh almond. Tannins are firm and very slightly dry. Good length.
